After downloading pictures I have taken with my own camera, I am always amazed how my Dad comes back to me with such incredible enhances of those photos. His eye for what will make great lasting photos is so much better trained than most. The family pictures that he produces gives such meaning and absolutely solidifies the memory of the moment. I'm always in awe of how he creates timeless photos that are kept out to enjoy every day and not just stored on the computer!
This new Fractal design work that Dad has been 'playing' with lately has really captured my attention. Dad is like a 'mad scientist' I always say. One with his computer until the wee hours of the morning or night, whichever comes first! He is such a true creator, artist and professional. Self taught by pure curiosity and passion, it is totally mind boggling to me. Watching the latest fractal slideshow, you can't help but be mesmerized and totally drawn in. It is a captivating experience that just doesn't happen by accident. Every little detail has been perfectly placed and thought out.
I envision his fractal images on a massive screen in a very cool gallery with the musical 'score' filling the room, while people take in a totally original 'Greg Gordon' experience!

Greg has magically captured two of the most important days of our lives (thus far) with the slide shows of "Miss Luca" and “Our Day”. When we married in Samoa in 2007 we were taken with it’s beauty and by just explaining it to friends and family, we could not do it justice. However, Greg was able to bring our experience alive and now we have this beautiful piece of art that we are able to share (this has been very important for those who were not with us on “our day”). We have watched the slide show over and over and each viewing is like being there all over again.
After the birth of our daughter Luca, Greg captured our first family portrait. As a new parent we have taken hundreds (plus) photos but did not feel that we were capturing the delicate, tender side of Luca that we as parents only think we can see. Amazingly, Greg was able to do this and more. His choice of music for the slide show is brilliant and still brings tears to our eyes every time we watch it. Thank-you so much Greg for these two beautiful gifts and for sharing your talents with us.

Greg’s compilation of “The English Countryside” slide show was a wonderful surprise. He and I had chatted prior to my June 2007 hiking trip to Yorkshire, UK about the type of camera I should purchase; when I got back, Greg wanted to look at all the pictures I had captured. Greg then chose the photos for the slide show from about 280 that I had taken. The photos and music are presented in such a way that it takes me right back to Yorkshire and I always smile when watching the show (I never get tired of watching it). I particularly like the spectacular transitions that give the illusion of walking along the trails/roads. I have shared the slide show with many of my friends / family and it has inspired a few of them to look into hiking trips. Thanks for the unique way of preserving my UK trip memories, Greg.
I’m off on another adventure in May 2008 and when I get back I plan to ask Greg to work on another presentation, this time I hope to capture images from Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, and Italy.

“I’m an outdoor enthusiast and amateur photographer so I jumped at the opportunity to let Greg work his magic on my photos from my hiking and kayaking trips. I was amazed at the end results “Are these really my pictures?” Not only were the colors in my photos more vivid, crisper and sharper but he had also added great special filter effects and graphics which added fun to some & provided focus to others. Greg has a keen eye for the details, endless imagination and has a good understanding of telling a story that creates an emotional connection for those watching my slide shows. I know from personal experience of creating basic slide shows for my work just how many painstaking hours it takes to create a show but for Greg that’s what he lives for!
The PTE slideshow software that he uses is so neat because it takes the basic slide show format and brings the show to life so to speak. The unique slide transitions and special effects used on my 4 slide shows “Patti’s Adventures” that Greg did I found enhanced my memories & emotions even more.
End result; is being able to share your trip with your friends and family that captures the beauty and emotion in a unique & memorable way. Can’t wait for my next trip and resulting slideshow(s)....

Last Fall I took a “Trip Back East” and through Greg’s slideshow, I found myself reliving the experience. Greg has a knack for capturing the beauty in nature as he enhances the colour and clarity of my photographs. I loved the seamless transitions from one image to the next and the whimsical addition of the occasional falling leaf. His grouping and layering of the pictures plus the complementary music captured the peacefulness of the autumn scenery. The technique of zooming in and pulling away was very effective. especially with the pictures taken while I was on a boat cruise.
Greg is very passionate about his craft with photography and music. His attention to detail and creativity are evident throughout his photographic works. The slideshow was a great way to share the highlights of my trip with friends. Everyone was very impressed. I can’t wait to see what he will do with my photos of Costa Rica.

We have known Greg for a long time and he always has been very passionate about his photography. His keen eye for detail, his passion for the composition of each photograph and his never ending meticulousnous makes him “the go to guy” when it comes to working on our important shots - be them family related or vacation related. Also having seen all of his own special photographs mounted and framed and on sale in various galleries really showed us that he KNOWS so much more than the norm about this art.
Recently we took a long awaited four week trip to Europe. Greg took our photographs and turned them into a virtual 3 dimensional scrapbook - aka slide show set to music. This is a very long process of sharpening contrast in shots, adjusting colour and setting music that suits the “theme” of the shots - as well as putting his incredible creative flair on the shows by using special effects from his program. Each slide show has a little something different to it. Greg has always been a perfectionist in whatever he has a passion for. Be it his music creations, his own photography or detailing other peoples photographs. We love his eye for depth of colour and his imagination. He’s amazing with all things visual and has virtually taught himself through the levels of his craft.
For us personally, we appreciate so much how he captures our little stories / memories of our trips on these “moving” slide shows so well........ We can’t help but be spoiled now!
